Wed - Mar. 13, '18 special detail this morning at Capt. McRae. wash clothes and read & write to Berniece this after noon. Thu - Mar 14, '18 K.P. today, get up at 3:30 to start fires. got a letter from Berniece & answer it. got a sweater from aunt Ollie Fri - March 15, '18 hike all morning, play ball all afternoon, & get ready for an inspection in the morning. wash clothes, read & go to bed. |
Sat - March 16, '18 Inspection, tent pitching contest. we come out second. nothing to do but read all afternoon & go to bed early. Sun - March 17, '18 St. Patrick's day in the morning. K.P. for one of the boys. write to B_. and read awhile. Mon - Mar. 18, '18 special detail all week for the Q.M. corps. got a letter from Lucile Barbour. Had a big entertainment at supper. An English officer spoke, and we had a general good time. |
